The Best of the Mommy Bloggers Carnival: vote for your favourite!

Best of the mommy bloggers Welcome to the first edition of the Best of the Mommy Bloggers Carnival! This carnival highlights posts from the best of the mommy blogger community.

Bloggers were asked to send in their "best post ever" — either in terms of page views, comments, or what each blogger felt was their personal best.

You can tell I am a victim of "mommy rot" as I picked the date of the US presidential election for our carnival debut. Ooopps.

So let's have our own election. Vote for your favourite post by leaving a comment, and I'll send the winner my Obama button (assuming it actually arrives).

So, without further ado, The 4 November Best of the Mommy Bloggers Carnival …

  1. Mine is Conversations with a Polish housecleaner. It stumbled on its first day, and is still stumbling…

  2. Travel Savvy Mom sends her favourite post on how to get things on the house when travelling (after she found someone else's thong underwear in her hotel room bed). Yuk.

  31. Julie@Cool Mom Guide | 4th Nov 08

Well, I went through and commented on all that would let me (2 wouldn’t) and I stumbled each post. They’re all great! The Polish Housekeeper grabbed my attention because I’m Polish, so I natrually gravitated to it. The Penis story was similar to an ‘event’ with my son as well, so I was in stitches reading that. I liked Toni’s ‘Boob…’ post. It was one of the ones that wouldn’t publish a comment, but it is a great post to read.

  32. Danielle Says Hello | 4th Nov 08

#12 by Angel Kisses!!! That’s my vote and I’m sticking to it 😉

  33. Potty Mummy | 4th Nov 08

Where to start? I loved Ex-Pat mum’s entry of course, but I think the one I have to go for is My Giant new Penis’ – mainly because I know it’s just a matter of time before that happens in our house…

  34. Susanna (A Modern Mother) | 4th Nov 08

Ok, I’ll start with the voting.
It is really tough, because they are all so good!
“My giant new penis” really made me giggle. And so did “I need a hero” and “the manhole story”. “On the house” and “the great unifier” offered sound advice, and “Depression” came straight from the heart.
Also, Kirsten’s “top reason for not having a home office: mummy’s having a poo” post was hilarious and it was her first as a blogger.
