Oxford has everything from cool indy shops to high street basics to luxury goods. Here are some of my favourites.
109 – 113 High Street Oxford, OX1 4BT

Come here for men’s and women’s clothing that make you feel at home at a country pile weekend. Dubarry boots, Barbour wax jackets, that sort of thing. It it also where all the students go to get their academic gowns and robes. (all Oxford students wear what is essentially a uniform to matriculation, formal exams and degree ceremonies.) Lots of Oxford college hoodies as well.
5-6 The Plain, Cowley, Oxford OX4 1AS

Vintage evening wear and more!
Market St. Oxford, OX1 3DZ

The building dates back to the 1770s. Lots of indy’s with local crafts, food and drink. You can access from the High Street, Market Street or through the Golden Cross in Cornmarket Street.
Oxford OX1 1TR
Yes, this is a mall albeit a really nice one. New partially covered shopping centre with high-street and luxury brands, cinema and rooftop restaurants.
48-51 Broad St, Oxford OX1 3BQ

My favourite bookstore EVER. Opensince 1879, there are several floors to explore. Plus there’s a Cafe Nero if you want a break from browsing.
56 St Giles’, Street, Oxford OX1 3LU

And this is a close 2nd favourite bookshop! Fabulous 2nd hand books at good prices.
6-7 High St, Oxford OX1 4AD

It’s a chain, but it reminds me of shopping in California. If you are looking for a gift, they have the great coffee mugs.
