The Help (official UK trailer) and book giveaway

I'm so excited! One of my favourite novels, The Help, is coming out in film this autumn!

*squeal*

I wrote a while back about who should be cast in the film, and the preview looks like it won't disappoint.

 

If you haven't read it yet, Dreamworks have donated 5 copies of The Help to giveaway on my blog.

If you would like to be entered in the competition to win a copy — please leave a comment below before 30 June that contains the phrase "The Help".

    If you haven’t read The Help then get a copy. It is a brilliant read about racial tensions in the deep south of America and concentrates on the relations and friendships built with the books characters.

    Torn! Loved the book – but so often film versions disappoint, not least because they will never match the pictures you have built up in your head. I’m sure I will go and see it – but with trepidation!

    The trailer is great and has certainly sold the movie to me! Looks like a movie with many layers that will hit all your emotions (fantastic). I haven’t read the book, to be honest I have to shamefully admit I haven’t read anything since my girls were born. I can’t get past a few pages of anything without falling asleep!
