I saw some daffodils here yesterday – they looked a bit strange planted next to a palm tree. Doesn’t have the same feel as spring bulbs in the UK!

We are a long way from spring here, despite what that groundhog may have said yesterday. The garden is still under about three feet of snow and ice, and no sign of a let-up!
Woo hoo! It’s a gorgeous sunny day in Essex today and I’m just about to head out for a long walk and soak up some much needed vit D. Now you’ve inspired me to bring my camera and look for bulbs in my garden as well!
