Bottles of sun screen: 2
Trips to the Children's Discovery Museum: 3
Blog posts: 6
Night out with the girls: 2
Argument with hubby about paddling canoe: 1
Hangovers: 2 (thanks Mothership!)
Trips to A & E: 0
Happy kids: 3
Overall, I'd say it was a huge success.

Sounds like a packed summer hols, Susanna. Have to say that I’m relieved that the almost-10 week marathon summer hols are drawing to a close tomorrow 😉

We’re just getting through a painfully cold (today was 21 degrees celsius!) winter here in Sydney, Australia. Looking forward to getting into the summer mood with my little one in a couple of months. Thanks for the inspirational ideas!

Looks like you’ve have a busy time of it. At least you have some lovely memories of the summer of 2009.
I don’t think I’ve enjoyed mine as much as you, apart from a five day break at Center Parcs which was fab.

Huge success indeed. Our holidays are not over yet – they last until the first of September. I’d say so far they’ve been okay-ish. I liked the foreign bits. I prefer routine anyway. Just eight more days…
