Hi Susanna – hope you don’t mind, I’ve pinched your idea. Pop over and have a read!

  2. Kim | 15th Jul 09

What a cute idea! Reminds me of Bill Cosby’s “Kids Say the Darndest Things.”
Sleep.Drink Coffee.Work = That pretty much sums it up for me!
Fourty four – Fifteen – Four = 25 years old (sound about right?)

  3. A Modern Mother | 8th Jul 09

    Iota — exactly!

  4. Iota | 8th Jul 09

I would try this, but I once asked the kids what various people were best at, and it’s made me nervous.
Granny was declared as best at playing games. Daddy was declared as best at giving hugs. Mummy was declared best at checking email.
    Gutting.

  5. Chloe Alice Wilson | 7th Jul 09

I loved this so had to interview my little one too. I’m glad to see work features high in yours as mine did too.
    Cheers, Chloe

  6. Treemama | 3rd Jul 09

i thought it was weird that for both yours and mine, the older ones knew our ages, but the younger ones thought we were younger.
i do like that your not good with the maths, from a math reject on this end!

  7. Rosie Scribble | 1st Jul 09

Hilarious! I loved the question about your age best!

  8. A Modern Mother | 1st Jul 09

I started to get really worried about the “tall” comment, i.e. do they really think I’m that big? Think I will start slouching…
The other comment that worried me is their response to my favoutite thing to do — sleep, coffee and work. Hmmm. Not good. But so true at the moment.

  9. All Grown Up | 30th Jun 09

this is flipping brilliant! You should add your actual answers (e.g. how tall ARE you??) lol!

  10. Perfectly Happy Mum | 30th Jun 09

Oh I want to try it with the boys when they are older!
    That’s brilliant I love it 🙂
BTW Congrats for your position in the Cision Top 10!

  11. Frog in the Field | 30th Jun 09

That’s very funny, I dread to think what mine would say!

  12. Laura | 30th Jun 09

This is a lovely idea how sweet are your girls too. I think i might have to try this one out 🙂

  13. Linda | 29th Jun 09

Brilliant, that must make your heart swell a little (or a lot!)
I may have to try it but answers could be very politically incorrect!

  14. clareybabble | 29th Jun 09

I love those answers, especially about how tall/old you are!! So cute x

  15. A Modern Mother | 29th Jun 09

I interviewed them all separately, because I knew the older ones would influence the younger ones. I actually went youngest to oldest.
The only answers I didn’t like were that it’s obvious I spend too much time on the laptop!
    Try it!

  16. Almost Mrs Average | 29th Jun 09

Oooh I wonder what it would be like to be a fifteen feet tall fifteen year old. That would scare the boys 😀

  17. Home Office Mum | 29th Jun 09

Love that! I’m deffo going to do it. Did you do it with them altogether?

  18. OMG We're Pregnant | 29th Jun 09

LOL “running fast” …. love it!!!

  19. working mum | 29th Jun 09

Is Alexandra in trouble a lot, then?
What great answers, and a clear view into children’s views on mummy. Not sure I’m brave enough to try it after the “Attentioner” episode!

  20. TooManyHats | 29th Jun 09

44, 15, 4 – quite the range 🙂 Very cute. I am afraid to try it on my three – they are 12, 13, and 16.

  21. Rebel Mother | 29th Jun 09

Two of them agree with the maths though!
    And two agreed with work!
    Fabulous. Love it! RMxx

  22. Caroline | 29th Jun 09

Oh, that’s so sweet. I might have a go with William sometime.

  23. Coding Mamma (Tasha) | 29th Jun 09

Lovely! Wonder if Rosemary would be up for it – may try.

  24. Potty Mummy | 29th Jun 09

What a great idea. Not sure I’m brave enough to try it with the boys…

  25. Brit in Bosnia | 29th Jun 09

I love it. Particularly love that you are not very good at running fast. Too sweet!

  26. cartside | 29th Jun 09

That was a great interview! Not sure which parts you don’t like – I think you came out very well there! You might even enter the Guinness Book of Records for the tallest person.

  27. Catherine | 29th Jun 09

This is one of the sweetest things I’ve seen in awhile! Kids are so brutally honest and hysterical!
