Would it be possible to beg a few cavallo nero seeds please? I have been growing red Russian kale for years (or rather they grow themselves)and would like to try a new variety as well.
If you have some left over my address is 55 Aston road London SW20 8BG. I will return the postage stamp.
Ahhhh! you have put me to shame!
My raised beds arrived yesterday so I have somewhere to grow my salad leaves etc next year (the borders are currently filled with random cabbages etc) and my neighbour has offered us a patch of her land to grow potatoes/carrots etc. I am hoping for big things on the gardening font!
Well done you – very impressive 🙂
Very impressive. When the puppy has stopped tearing up the garden I might try digging for victory myself. Yuck to the marrow though. I remember being forced to eat it as a kid (stuffed, with mince). Gross gross gross.
Wow! Well done. Your harvest puts my mini pumpkins to shame!

Paradise — ah you got me. The little one on the left is only four inches high! I was impressed that it turned orange this year — last year there wasn’t enough sun and they were green!
They’re gorgeous – almost too gorgeous to eat……maybe not 😉

Insomniac — They were much better than last year’s which were green because of the lack of sun!

Wow! They’re impressive pumpkins!
All our attempts at growing in patio pots this year didn’t turn out very well. The only thing I maneged to to ruin was the herbs!
🙂
OK you’re bragging – now all I need to do is work out how to use the digital camera and then plant the stuff and make it grow and hey presto I’ll be joining you! It does look VERY good!

The only thing we have ever tried to grow is tomatoes. It all went well but then we forgot to pick them and they turned to mush!
