A love poem

Mother'sdaycard I love the way you cook for me.

I love the way you hug me.

I love the way you look.

I love the way you smile at me.

I love the way you tickle me.

I love you.

-Emily Scott, age 7 (and in impeccable handwriting, I might add!)

That is so sweet – you’ve got me wanting to hurry my girls up to reach the stage when I too will receive beautiful poems but I shall wait and enjoy them whilst they are so small.

So beautiful. My 7 year old daughter loves poetry and asked me to set up a weekly challenge on our blog – if your daughter ever wants to take a look and submit a poem I’d be delighted to pop it up on the blog! This week’s theme is ‘Insects’ – linky opens on 17 April.
Last Sunday’s theme of ‘Weather’ is still open 🙂

Sorry I mispelt my own blogname…ahh its been a long day. Just wanted to say lovely notes. I try and keep them all, even the ones that have a little bit of a moan that things could be better!

Aw! So lovely! Are you going to frame it? My son’s handwritten things, I keep so close!
